The delegation of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in France took part in the festival "The World of Turkic-speaking countries", organized by the association "Turkic-speaking Students" at the French National Institute of Oriental Languages and Civilizations (INALCO).
The UAE delegation headed by the Executive Chairman of the Government of the Emirate of Sharjah, Sheikh Fahim bin Sultan Al Qasimi, visited a number of historical sites and monuments of Samarkand.
During the visit to our country, representatives of the UAE delegation took part in the opening of the exhibition of archaeological finds of the Emirate of Sharjah, held at the Art Residence of the International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage "Silk Road", as well as in the opening of the exhibition "Samarkand - the cradle of the National Drama Theater" in the art gallery Art Station.
From April 15 to April 20, the Cinema Days of Uzbekistan are held in Tajikistan. During these days, feature films "Abdullo Aripov", "Judge", "Transformation" and "Long live the Spouse!" will be shown in the cinemas of the city of Dushanbe and in the palaces of culture of the cities of Hissar, Vakhdat and Varzob.
On April 8, a memorandum of understanding was signed between representatives of the British Council and the Foundation for the Development of Culture and Art of Uzbekistan. According to the signed paragraphs, the parties are expanding cooperation within the framework of the IV World Conference on the Creative Economy.
On April 4, a solemn opening ceremony of the Interstate Program "Samarkand - the cultural capital of the Commonwealth 2024" took place in Samarkand.
