Currently, preparation
processes for a concert program dedicated to including the "Andijan
Polka" dance in the Guinness Book of World Records are underway in the
Babur settlement of the region.
This project aims to widely
promote the Uzbek dance art and our unique culture on an international scale
through the symbol of Andijan.
For information, it is worth
noting that the International Organization of Turkic Culture – TURKSOY was
established on July 12, 1993, in Almaty, Kazakhstan, based on an agreement signed
by the ministers of culture of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan,
Turkey, and Turkmenistan.
TURKSOY is a multilateral
international organization operating with the aim of strengthening cultural
ties among Turkic peoples, including preserving, promoting, and transmitting
the shared heritage to future generations in a number of areas such as
language, literature, music, theater, cinema, and traditional art.
We will continue to provide
details of the solemn event throughout the day.
