The State committee for tourism development held a meeting dedicated to supporting extreme and other popular types of tourism in Uzbekistan and their further development. It was attended by representatives of the Federation of extreme tourism, the Federation of aeronautics and the Federation of paragliding of Uzbekistan.
It is planned to attract up to $500 million, including funds from government financial institutions of France for development of the International All Seasons Resort “Beldersay – Chimgan – Nanay” in Bostanlyk district of Tashkent region.
Management Development Institute of Singapore in Tashkent will host International “III Millennials’ Tourism Festival” Online 2020, in collaboration with the State Committee for Tourism Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Youth Affairs Agency of Uzbekistan, on September 16, 2020.
The first symbolic brick was laid for the building in the Jeyran nursery located in the south-west of the Kyzylkum desert, 42 km from Bukhara. The development of an eco-tourism facility is aimed at increasing the possibilities of the nursery and creating favorable conditions for visiting tourists and local guests.
A presidential decree "On measures to accelerate the development of tourism by introducing a special management procedure in Bostanlyk district" was adopted. In accordance with the Decree, a special administrative management system is being introduced in the Bostanlyk district of the Tashkent region for a period until 31 December 2022.
During the discussion of the further development of the tourism industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the presentation of the project to create an international resort “Beldersay-Chimgan-Nanai”. Its concept and economic model were developed by a consortium of French companies with a grant from the FASEP Foundation in the amount of 750 thousand euros.
