According to seismological data, the earthquake had a magnitude of 5.5 and occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers. The epicenter was located 269 km southeast of Tashkent. The tremors were recorded at 15:26:49 on April 3.

According to preliminary data, no casualties or damages have been reported as a result of the earthquake.
