The
delegation led by the President of the International Federation of Association
Football (FIFA), Gianni Infantino, is on an official visit to Uzbekistan on
September 29–30.
The FIFA
delegation was welcomed by Adham Ikramov, Minister of Sports of the Republic of
Uzbekistan, and Ravshan Irmatov, First Vice-President of the Uzbekistan
Football Association.
Within the
framework of the visit, it is planned to get acquainted with a number of
important projects and facilities aimed at further popularizing football in our
country, developing its infrastructure, and strengthening international
cooperation.
Special
attention will also be paid to issues of cooperation in developing football in
Uzbekistan, supporting young talents, and further advancing football in our
country.
