The distinguished guest was met at Tashkent-Humo International Airport by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Achilbay Ramatov and other officials.
In accordance with the program of the stay, talks between the heads of the two states will be held in a contracted and expanded formats. Issues of deepening multifaceted relations between Uzbekistan and Germany will be considered.
The sides will pay particular attention to expanding practical cooperation in trade, industrial cooperation, energy and green technologies, transport and logistics, pharmaceuticals and the chemical industry, and agriculture, as well as intensifying educational and humanitarian exchanges.
Views will also be exchanged on current issues on the international and regional agenda.
As part of the talks, the launch of several new joint projects and programs is planned.
