The meeting was
attended by Uzbekistan's Minister of Energy J. Mirzamakhmudov, Kyrgyzstan's
Minister of Energy T. Ibraev, and Kazakhstan's Minister of Energy Y.
Akkenzhenov and Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation N. Nurdjgitov.
Additionally, Uzbekistan's Minister of Water Resources Sh. Khamraev and
Tajikistan's Minister of Energy and Water Resources D. Juma participated via
video conference.
During the
negotiations, it was emphasized that multilateral cooperation initiated by the
heads of these fraternal states has been developing consistently and
effectively in all areas, particularly in the fuel and energy sector.
The primary
objective of the meeting was to discuss ensuring a stable and coordinated
operating mode for the region's water and energy systems during the 2026–2027
vegetation period. The parties noted the necessity of further strengthening
cooperation in this regard.
Furthermore, the
results of the autumn-winter season were reviewed, and specific measures for
balancing energy loads and ensuring the continuous operation of systems were
considered. At the conclusion of the meeting, participants agreed to continue
implementing coordinated regimes, strengthen cross-sectoral coordination, and
deepen regional energy cooperation.
The next meetings are
scheduled to be held in Tashkent in May 2026 and in Bishkek in June 2026.
