During the visit, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev held talks with his Belarusian counterpart in a restricted format and with the participation of the official delegations.
The leaders advocated for developing political dialogue and strengthening inter-parliamentary cooperation. The parties reaffirmed their firm commitment to the long-term development of a multifaceted partnership and considered new project initiatives in priority areas.
Following the talks, the Presidents signed a Declaration on establishing a strategic partnership, and in their presence, several bilateral documents were also exchanged.
In statements to the media, it was noted with satisfaction that the official visit had become a historic event in the development of relations between Uzbekistan and Belarus and had marked the beginning of a new chapter in strengthening interstate cooperation.
Following the official visit, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev departed for Tashkent.
