Employees of the Andijan Regional Customs Administration, when studying shipping documents and electronic declarations for vehicles entering Uzbekistan, drew attention to some inconsistencies.
After that, the vehicles were sent to the "red" corridor in accordance with the established procedure and subjected to customs inspection.
As a result of the inspection, goods were found among the cargo that were not listed in the electronic declarations and shipping documents. In particular, 23,000 bicycle tires and 2,200 lead-acid batteries for electric scooters were identified.
According to the customs authorities, these goods were not reflected in the electronic declarations and accompanying documents.
The discovered goods have been placed in temporary storage. An investigation is currently underway into this fact.
