The center was established by the Akademiya IT Star enterprise in accordance with the resolution of the Head of State of February 26, 2024, which aims to develop exports of digital services.
Information technology is becoming one of the most sought-after fields among young people. Therefore, it is important to expand opportunities in the regions to master modern IT professions, develop practical skills, and create competitive software products.
The total cost of the project is 15 billion UZS. The center has created 100 jobs.
The center enables young people from rural areas and districts to acquire modern skills and pursue modern professions without having to travel far from home. Training is provided in marketing, programming, and robotics, and young people apply the knowledge they acquire in practical projects.
Local entrepreneurs also make effective use of the center’s capabilities. They receive IT services and consultations to develop their businesses using artificial intelligence. To date, more than 500 business entities have received services valued at 8.5 billion UZS.
Currently, the region’s 65,000 business entities require more than 129,000 specialists, including SMM managers, mobile content creators, graphic designers, marketers, data analysts, and artificial intelligence specialists. The center’s educational programs have been designed to meet this demand.
The Head of State reviewed the startups created by young people in detail and highly praised their knowledge and intellectual potential. During a sincere conversation, the young men and women shared new initiatives and proposals to further develop the startup ecosystem in Uzbekistan.
