During the
meeting, the head of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry emphasized the trusting
and sincere nature of relations between the leaders of the two states, as well
as the closeness of the parties' positions on topical socio-political issues,
the Dunyo news agency reports.
The
interlocutors discussed the dynamic development of the Uzbek-Belarusian
partnership and the implementation of agreements reached following the
high-level talks held on July 8-9 this year.
Special
attention was paid to increasing the volume of mutual trade to $2 billion,
enhancing interregional cooperation, as well as spreading the successful
experience of cooperation between the Andijan and Vitebsk regions to all
regions of the two countries. In this regard, the parties exchanged relevant
proposals and initiatives.
In
addition, the sides exchanged views on the implementation of targeted projects
envisaged by the roadmap for 2026-2030, as well as the further development of
trade and economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and Belarus.
"The
heads of our states have set important tasks for us to bring bilateral
cooperation to a qualitatively new level. In this regard, we maintain a regular
working and friendly dialogue with my colleague Bakhtiyor Saidov. Today, our
ambassadors are required to work in accordance with new realities and modern
requirements," Maxim Ryjenkov emphasized.
