A guard of honor was lined up in the square, decorated with the national flags of the two countries, in honor of the President of Azerbaijan.
The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev warmly welcomed the distinguished guest and invited him to the podium. The national anthems of both countries were played.
The leaders inspected the guard of honor and introduced the members of their official delegations.
