According
to the press service of the Center for Islamic Civilization, a number of global
initiatives are put forward in the Declaration. In particular, it is proposed
to create a World Alliance of Islamic Civilization at the Center of Islamic
Civilization in Uzbekistan, which will unite international organizations,
academic and scientific institutions, museums, libraries, archives, manuscript
centers, research institutes and other interested structures.
Key
initiatives also include the creation of a Global digital Register of the
Heritage of Islamic Civilization, combining objects of this heritage on a
single international digital platform, the implementation of the international
program "Islamic Civilization - the heritage of all mankind", the
establishment of the International Prize of Islamic Civilization, the creation
of the World Digital Library of Islamic Civilization and the International
Youth Forum on Islamic Civilization.
All these
initiatives are aimed at preserving, scientific study and wide popularization
of the humanistic heritage of the Islamic civilization.
The
establishment of the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan and the
holding of the First International Forum of Islamic Civilization marked the
beginning of a new stage of international cooperation in the field of studying,
preserving and popularizing the heritage of Islamic civilization.
