During the
visit, Oleg Laren, head of the delegation, Head of the Internal Security
Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus, met with Rustam Mirzaev,
Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan.
The parties
stressed their mutual interest in further strengthening cooperation and
discussed current areas of practical cooperation, issues of staff development,
combating corruption crimes and sharing professional experience.
As a result
of the negotiations, which took place in a constructive and friendly
atmosphere, promising tasks for the further development of cooperation were
identified.
In
addition, representatives of the Belarusian delegation visited the Tashkent
city Police Department, where they got acquainted with the work of the
situation center, achievements in the field of digitalization, as well as the
system for ensuring safe tourism in the capital.
