During the conversation, it was noted that thanks to the constructive dialogue at the highest level, Uzbek-French relations are developing dynamically and have been brought to the level of strategic partnership. It was emphasized that France is a reliable and long-term partner of Uzbekistan.
The positive results of cooperation in trade, economic, cultural, humanitarian and educational spheres were discussed. The parties also discussed the implementation of joint projects in agriculture, water management, energy, industry, food, transport, logistics, emphasizing mutual support for initiatives in the international arena.
Special attention was paid to the further development of interparliamentary cooperation as an important element of strengthening the dialogue between the two countries. The need to intensify contacts between the relevant committees and develop interregional ties, expand the activities of interparliamentary cooperation groups was emphasized.
The importance of holding the First Interparliamentary Forum "Uzbekistan-France" as an effective mechanism for deepening cooperation between the two countries and developing coordinated approaches on topical issues of the bilateral and interregional agenda was noted.
At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to further strengthen the interparliamentary dialogue and expand practical cooperation.
