The parties emphasized that cooperation between Uzbekistan and Russia in the field of higher education, science and innovation is multifaceted. To date, the two countries have established a solid legal framework in the field of higher education, and mutual cooperation is consistently expanding.
There was also an increase in academic mobility and the growing interest of Uzbek youth in studying at Russian universities.
During the negotiations, issues of improving the quality of education, adapting ongoing joint educational programs to the requirements of the labor market, as well as further improving the activities of branches of Russian higher education institutions were discussed.
