During the talks, the parties discussed in detail the current state and strategic prospects for the development of Uzbek-Swiss trade, economic and investment cooperation.
Special attention was paid to the dynamics of mutual trade. By the end of 2025, the trade turnover between the two countries demonstrated steady growth, increasing by 84 percent and reaching 591.4 million US dollars. Currently, 114 companies with Swiss capital are operating in Uzbekistan, which indicates the consistent expansion of business ties and the steady interest of investors in the Uzbek market.
During the meeting, priority areas for further expanding partnerships with leading Swiss companies in such industries as pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, industrial automation, energy, geology and mining, as well as the food industry were identified.
The parties paid special attention to preparations for the Tashkent International Investment Forum - 2026. The readiness to organize a number of specialized events aimed at the presentation of new investment initiatives and the development of direct interaction between the business circles of the two countries was confirmed.
As a result of the dialogue, mutual interest was confirmed in the qualitative deepening of long-term partnership, the expansion of investment cooperation and the implementation of new joint projects.
