The competitions were held according to a three-level system - national, regional and global stages. More than 210,000 students from 2,000 colleges and universities from more than 100 countries took part in them, including teams from the Tashkent University of Information Technology, Inha and Turin Polytechnic University, the Dunyo news agency reports.
In more than 10 areas of the competition, teams presented functional solutions with social and commercial value based on the analysis of everyday problems and the use of technologies such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing, big data and others.
At the final stage, which was attended by 179 teams from more than 40 countries, including China, Turkey, Switzerland, Chile, Pakistan, Egypt, Qatar and Nigeria, representatives of our country won the following prizes - the Tashkent University of Information Technology team took 1st place in the "Practice Competition - Network Track". and the joint team of Tashkent University of Information Technology, Inha and Turin Polytechnic University took the 3rd place in the direction of "Practice Competition - Cloud Track".
The Huawei ICT Competition is a major international event attended by university students and faculty from all over the world. Participants have the opportunity to strengthen their knowledge in the field of ICT, develop practical skills, and stimulate innovation using the latest technologies and platforms. The competition is included in the list of national competitions for Chinese university students, and is globally recognized as a flagship program supported by UNESCO through the Global Skills Academy.
