The event
features large-scale decorative landscapes created from more than 2 million
flowers and shrubs. The festival features flower tunnels, hanging arrangements,
photo zones and large art objects, including a giant clock, a multicolored
peacock figure, mini cars and an airplane decorated with flowers.
In the
center of the square there is a composition in the form of a "Monument of
Independence", symbolizing the New Uzbekistan. The facade of the library
building is decorated with festive banners.
The
festival includes a gala concert with famous artists, performances by folklore
groups, as well as national games. Exhibitions of handicrafts, trade pavilions
and outdoor kitchen areas are also organized.
The main
purpose of the event is to promote the tourism and cultural potential of
Tashkent, create a spring atmosphere and increase the attractiveness of the capital
for guests from different countries.
The
Tashkent Flowers Fest 2026 takes place daily from 10:00 to 22:00 and will last
until May 9th inclusive. Admission is free.
