At the
first stage, such zones have been established near:
School No.
5 in the Yunusabad District;
School No.
42 in the Shaykhantakhur District..
On the
designated areas for orderly short‑term vehicle
stops, appropriate road signs have been installed and road markings have been
applied.
The
creation of such zones is intended to improve the safety of schoolchildren,
prevent children from getting off directly onto the roadway, reduce the number
of chaotic vehicle stops near schools, and streamline traffic during the start
and end of classes.
In
addition, the designated areas allow parents to safely drop off and pick up
their children without creating any obstacles for pedestrians and other road
users.
Currently,
work to create similar zones is ongoing at other schools in the capital as
well.
