As part of the campaign, waste is being removed from mahallas, streets and public places, unauthorized landfills are being eliminated, and green areas are being put in order.

According to the presidential decree, since October 1, special attention has been paid to cleaning not only streets and mahallas, but also roads, ditches, canals, reservoirs and other public places.

Special equipment is used in the regions for the timely disposal of waste. At the same time, work is underway to improve the sanitary condition of the territories, landscaping and improving the ecological culture of the population.

A significant amount of work has already been completed in some regions:

— More than 229 units of equipment have been involved in the Republic of Karakalpakstan. Waste was removed from 139 mahallas — a total of 9090 tons of garbage were removed.

— More than 330 pieces of equipment are involved in the Andijan region. 23,671 tons of waste were removed from more than 230 mahallas.

— In the Samarkand region, 319 mahallas were cleared with the participation of more than 440 units of equipment. 23,125 tons of waste were removed from here.

— 261 units of equipment have been involved in Tashkent. 47,942 tons of waste were collected and disposed of in 228 mahallas.

Special attention within the framework of the two-month period is paid to landscaping. Territories for planting seedlings are being determined and land plots are being prepared as part of the autumn phase of the nationwide Yashil Makon project.

In particular, a stock of 10 million 597 thousand seedlings and shrubs has been created in Namangan region for the autumn season. Irrigation systems with a total length of 191,500 meters operate in the green areas.

Preparatory work is also underway in the Bukhara region. Land plots for planting seedlings are being prepared in the territories of the mahalla of Panob in the Vabkent district and the Jondor district. In the Dzhondorsky district, the work of the nursery was also studied, a well was drilled for watering seedlings, mulching and composting work was carried out.

Activities within the framework of the two-month "Tozalik va ozodalik" cleaning, landscaping and landscaping of territories continue throughout the country.
