The first working group consisting of representatives of the Committee on Religious Affairs of Uzbekistan, the Muslim Board and a team of chefs arrived in Saudi Arabia to carefully prepare for the reception of pilgrims from our country in the beginning of the Hajj season.

The delegation is supported by the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Jeddah, the Dunyo news agency reports.

The delegation is tasked with providing Uzbek pilgrims with hotels, meals, amenities and conditions in Mecca and Medina, and creating favorable conditions for Hajj prayers in the Hajj 2024 season.

The arrival of Uzbek pilgrims to Saudi Arabia for the Hajj this year will begin on May 23. Direct flights from 10 regions of Uzbekistan will be operated daily to Medina. Pilgrims from Tashkent, Bukhara, Namangan, Ferghana, Samarkand, Karshi, Termez, Urgench, Nukus and Navoi will be flown by Uzbekistan Airways to their destination.

The hotel "Zam Zam Pullman Hotel" in the city of Medina and several hotels with good conditions in Mecca are being prepared for the pilgrims of Uzbekistan.

It is expected that about 15 thousand of our compatriots will perform Hajj prayer during the Hajj season 2024. The pilgrims are accompanied by members of the working group of the Umrah and Hajj Commission of Uzbekistan and qualified doctors.

Saudi Arabia highly appreciates the measures taken by the Government of Uzbekistan to prepare for the Hajj 2024 season.
