It is reported that an Air India plane crashed. There were 130 passengers on board.
Videos from the scene show a thick column of smoke rising from the ground.
At least a dozen ambulances arrived at the scene, some of them took the wounded to the hospital. Police have blocked traffic in the area.
According to the News 18 TV channel, a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner crashed with about 250 passengers on board. Presumably, the incident occurred when the plane was flying to London.
