According to the new procedure, passengers are required to pay their price
as soon as they board the bus.
Payment is made by tapping a transport or social card on the validator, as
well as through bank cards, smartphones, and other contactless payment methods.
The system also provides opportunities for using NFC, QR, and biometric payment
technologies.
If a passenger fails to pay the fare upon boarding or cannot confirm
entitlement to a benefit, they will be considered as traveling without a ticket
and may be subject to a fine.
The main purpose of the new rule is to accurately account for fare
payments, reduce reliance on cash, and strengthen the culture of electronic
payment in public transport.
