According to MIFT, the document was signed by the First Deputy Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan Laziz Kudratov and the Head of JETRO Representative Office in Uzbekistan Jun Takahashi.
The Memorandum provides for holding business workshops for the Japanese business community every month in all regions of the country to broadly highlight the investment potential and the created opportunities for doing business in Uzbekistan, take into account the specifics of each region.
The first workshop will take place on May 20 in Tashkent region. More than 100 representatives of Japanese companies that are part of JETRO have confirmed their participation. The next workshop is planned to be held in Samarkand region.
