Uzbekistan Airports reports that the first destination was a regular flight of the domestic airline Flyone Asia on the route Andijan - Jeddah - Andijan, which will be operated twice a week - on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
The premiere flight of the Q7 2261 flight took place in a festive atmosphere, 151 passengers were on board. The airline's representatives stressed that the launch of this route will expand opportunities for pilgrimage, tourist and business trips, as well as strengthen ties between Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia.
To date, regular flights to Tashkent are also operated from Andijan by Silk Avia Airlines (on Mondays and Thursdays) and Uzbekistan Airways Airlines (on Wednesdays and Saturdays).
