During the dialogue, the main attention was paid to such issues as the implementation of joint projects on the analysis of space images in a number of areas, such as geology, water resources management, agriculture, the exchange of mutual experience in this area, and the improvement of staff qualifications

It should be noted that the Uzbekcosmos Agency has established strong cooperation relations with the US Geological Survey, and the first meeting of the parties took place in April 2024.

For information: this agency, operating since 1879 in the U.S. state of Virginia, is mainly engaged in the analysis of geological space images and scientific study of the Earth. The USGS also monitors and manages the Landsat series of satellites.
