WizzAir has started flights to Tashkent for the first time

    On January 25, the plane of the Hungarian airline Wizz Air landed in Tashkent. The Airbus A321 neo opened a new direction of flights to Uzbekistan: "Abu Dhabi - Tashkent - Abu Dhabi". The crew and passengers were solemnly welcomed at the terminal.

    It is planned that direct scheduled flights will be carried out on Airbus A320/A321 aircraft three times a week - on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The cost of tickets in this direction starts from $ 45 one way, the press service of Uzbekistan Airports reports.

    WizzAir has been operating flights to Samarkand Airport twice a week since December 2022 - on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

    For reference: WizzAir is a Hungarian low-cost airline with headquarters in Budapest (Hungary), established in 2003. At the time of July 2022, WizzAir's fleet consisted of 141 Airbus-type aircraft, with an average age of 5.3 years.
