A special commission determines subsidized air and rail routes and socially significant routes based on proposals made by passenger carriers, tour operators (travel agents) and interested ministries and departments.

The document changed the procedure for returning part of the ticket price to air carriers for air travel to local destinations.

From March 1, 2021 to June 1, 2022, a subsidy was allocated to travel organizers in the amount of 15% of the cost of transport tickets and 10% of the cost of hotel services for tours organized for citizens of Uzbekistan and stateless persons permanently residing in the republic.

Until January 1, 2026, air carriers will be provided with a subsidy in the amount of 25% of the cost of air tickets for domestic tourism, including for domestic routes of social significance (previously, the subsidy period was until June 1, 2022).

The document was published in the state language in the National Database of Legislation and entered into force on 09.01.2023, reports "Norma".
