National flags of both countries were displayed in the square in front of the residence, and a guard of honor was formed.

The President of Uzbekistan warmly welcomed the distinguished guest and invited him to the podium.

The national anthems were played. Accompanied by a military orchestra, the two leaders walked along the guard of honor and greeted members of the official delegations.

Following a joint photo session, talks between the heads of state, with the participation of delegations, commenced.
