Especially, famous Danish actor, showman, and TV host Melvin Kakooza visited the Uzbekistan pavilion to learn more about the country’s tourism potential. He showed particular interest in the photo and video materials, images of historical monuments, and national handicrafts on display.
Born in Uganda in 1991, Melvin Kakooza is widely known in Denmark for his comedy projects such as "Sunday" and "Helt sort," as well as the series "Perfekte steder." He has gained international acclaim for his stand-up performances and television programs.
During a warm conversation with the Uzbek delegation, Melvin Kakooza noted that our country’s centuries-old history and cultural heritage left a deep impression on him. Specifically, he mentioned his curiosity about the architectural ensembles of Samarkand, Khiva, and Bukhara, the history of the Silk Road, and their role in the development of Eastern civilization. He also highlighted Uzbekistan’s growing popularity as a travel destination and expressed his keen desire to visit the country.
