The heads of state launched new cooperation projects

    Following the second meeting of the Supreme Interstate Council, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, participated in a ceremony to launch major cooperation projects.

    In particular, the International Center for Industrial Cooperation “Central Asia” and Tenge Bank’s new headquarters in Tashkent were inaugurated.

    Construction was also launched for the Silkway Central Asia multipurpose logistics center, production facilities for linear alkylbenzene, the Astana district in New Tashkent, and the Tashkent and Astana hotel complexes in the capitals.

    The Presidents of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan expressed confidence that these projects will give additional momentum to the development of mutually beneficial trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.
