The document initiates the development of a Strategy for the protection of pastures and groundwater. The relevant program and the composition of the working group have been approved for this purpose.
Directions of the program:
- improving the organizational and methodological foundations for the effective use of pastures;
- implementation of the Strategy for the Protection of pastures and Groundwater;
- implementation of a sustainable pasture management system;
- protection of groundwater and its rational use.
Also, in 2024-2028, an inventory will be carried out and electronic maps of more than 21 million hectares of pasture and hay fields will be developed.
