As noted, the "Airbus A320" aircraft landed at Tashkent airport
at 01:35. In accordance with aviation tradition, the aircraft was greeted with
a water arch, and passengers and crew members were presented with national
sweets and flowers.
Flights on the new route will be operated daily using "Airbus
A320" aircraft. This will allow the establishment of regular direct air
communication between the capitals of Uzbekistan and the UAE.
The launch of flights by "Etihad Airways" to Tashkent is
considered an important event in expanding Uzbekistan's international aviation
connections. While serving to develop business and tourism ties between the two
countries, the new flight also expands convenient transit opportunities for
passengers to various global destinations via Abu Dhabi.
For reference, "Etihad Airways" was founded in 2003 and is the
national airline of the UAE, based in Abu Dhabi. The airline operates flights
to international destinations and holds high ratings in international quality
of service rankings.
Additionally, "Etihad Airways" has been awarded a 4-star quality
rating certificate by the independent British agency Skytrax.
