The conversation began with mutual congratulations on the appointment of B. Saidov and Qin Gang to the post of Foreign Ministers of Uzbekistan and China, respectively.

It was noted that thanks to the trusting dialogue and joint efforts of the Heads of the two states, today Uzbek-Chinese relations have reached an unprecedented high level, have acquired a mature and dynamic character. An active dialogue is maintained through parliaments, governments, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and relevant ministries.

The schedule and various aspects of the planned events in bilateral and multilateral formats are considered.

The similarity of the positions of Uzbekistan and China on international and regional security issues was emphasized. The readiness of the parties to continue close cooperation within the framework of the UN, SCO and other organizations was confirmed.

Proposals to activate trade and economic ties and accelerate the implementation of projects in the transport and communication sphere were considered.

The telephone conversation between the Foreign Ministers of Uzbekistan and China took place in an open, warm and friendly atmosphere. An agreement was reached to maintain working contacts in order to further develop the Uzbek-Chinese comprehensive strategic partnership.
