The Belarusian Foreign Minister met with representatives of the Svitanak Cultural Center in Tashkent

    On February 7, Belarusian Foreign Minister Sergei Aleynik took part in the II Forum of the Regions of Belarus and Uzbekistan, he visited the Embassy of Belarus in Uzbekistan, where he held a meeting with representatives of the Belarusian Cultural Center "Svitanak" in Tashkent, BELTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus.

    Issues of holding joint events dedicated to national holidays and memorable historical dates were discussed at the meeting. Sergey Aleynik noted the important contribution of the BCC "Svitanak" to the preservation and popularization of Belarusian traditions, language and culture, as well as the active work of the center with young people.

    Galina Tatarenko, Chairman of Svitank, presented the activities of the Belarusian cultural center and presented a photo album published with the support of the Embassy of Belarus in Uzbekistan for the 30th anniversary of the center.

    A number of contracts and agreements were signed at the forum. In particular, representatives of the regions and business circles of the two countries agreed to increase cooperation in the field of industrial cooperation, agriculture, processing industry, education, healthcare and pharmaceuticals, and also agreed to develop cooperation in the field of sports and tourism, personnel training for the forestry industry, urban planning and housing and communal services.
