During the meeting, the Uzbek side conveyed warm greetings and best wishes on behalf of President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
Issues of further expansion of comprehensive cooperation between the two countries, including in the fields of trade, transport and culture, were discussed. Special attention is paid to strengthening relations within the framework of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
"We reaffirm our commitment to strengthening cooperation within the SCO to ensure the prosperity of all countries, as well as to promote regional stability and progress," said Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov.
