According to the Xinhua news agency, a regional police spokesperson stated that the bodies were found in the Cisarua area of West Bandung. Out of the 16 bodies recovered, only seven have been identified. The remaining victims are being identified through DNA testing, and unidentified bodies are being temporarily held at a local hospital.

Earlier, the Indonesian National Search and Rescue Agency mobilized approximately 250 workers to search for about 80 people feared trapped under the debris.

The agency reported that several organizations are participating in the operation using drones, search dogs, and a limited amount of heavy machinery due to the unstable terrain, reported by report.az.
