During the
talks, the parties discussed the prospects for further development of
cooperation in the automotive industry and the implementation of joint
investment projects.
It was
noted that the launch of the JAC Motors plant in the Yangi Avlod special
industrial zone in May 2026 was an important stage in the development of the
modern automotive industry in Uzbekistan and the expansion of industrial
cooperation between Uzbekistan and China.
Special
attention was paid to the next stage of the project implementation. In
particular, plans were discussed to accelerate the company's transition from
large-scale assembly (SKD) to full-cycle production (CKD) as early as 2027.
In
addition, the parties considered measures to further localize production,
increase the export potential of the enterprise and introduce modern
technologies into the production process. Following the meeting, the
willingness to further expand cooperation and implement the planned plans was
confirmed.
