According to the legislation, at least 50% of the funds allocated annually from the State Budget for the national project "Yashil Makon" are directed to finance the projects "My Garden" to create "green gardens" and "green public parks" based on public opinion through the information portal "Open Budget" (UP-199 dated 11/23/2023).

At the same time, the creation of "green gardens" and "green public parks" is initiated at a cost not exceeding 250 million soums, with the presentation of dislocation and pictures of the squares. The voting processes for the "My Garden" projects are held annually in January-February.

The amount of funds allocated is specified based on the design and estimate documents. If the specified amount is exceeded, funds saved on other projects are allocated for the project. Additional funds from local budgets are also spent on projects based on decisions of the Kengash regions and the capital.

The document approved the Regulation on the procedure for the formation and financing of projects "My Garden", developed on the basis of public opinion. It provides for:

• the procedure for financing the "My Garden" projects;
• project development, selection and determination of winners;
• financing and implementation of winning projects;
• reporting and transparency;
• responsibility and control over the implementation of projects.

The document was published in the National Database of Legislation in the state language and entered into force on 04/01/2024, Norma reports.
