According to the National Statistics Committee, in January-August 2025, a total of 20.7 thousand Uzbek citizens went abroad to study.
This figure decreased by almost 5.1 thousand people or by 24.6% compared to the corresponding period last year.

· Tajikistan - 5,270 people;
· Russia - 4,649 people;
· Kyrgyz Republic - 3,064 people;
· Korea - 2,309 people;
· Turkey - 1,538 people;
· Kazakhstan - 874 people;
· China - 797 people;
· Great Britain - 567 people;
· Germany - 285 people;
· USA - 256 people.
According to the National Statistics Committee, the volume of Uzbekistan's imports in January-October 2025 amounted to 37.5 billion US dollars. Compared to the same period last year, imports increased by 16.9%.
According to the National Statistics Committee, 381.7 thousand students were admitted to higher education institutions in Uzbekistan in the 2024/2025 academic year.
