According to the Tax Committee, citizens registered 6 million 11.9 thousand
purchase receipts during the reporting period. In June alone, 139.4 thousand
users received over 5.1 billion sums in social cashback for 603.4 thousand
receipts.
Broken down by region, the largest amount of payments went to Andijan
Region, where 96.3 billion sums were refunded. Tashkent City followed in second
place with 15.2 billion sums, and Samarkand Region with 14.1 billion sums.
Additionally, 12.5 billion sums were paid in Tashkent Region, 8.7 billion sums
in Fergana Region, and 5.9 billion sums in Namangan Region.
As a reminder, starting May 1, 2023, individuals included in the
"Single Register of Social Protection" are refunded 12% VAT
calculated from the purchase amount as social cashback instead of the usual 1%
cashback when purchasing certain goods from retail trade outlets.
To receive the social cashback, citizens must scan the QR code on the
purchase receipt via the "Soliq" mobile application.
