Representatives of the Almalyk State Technical
Institute also took part in the final stage of the competition. The institute’s
scientists and researchers won several prizes and received awards from the Head
of State.
First place in the “Best Invention” category among
teaching staff was awarded to a project focused on extracting manganese and
iron from steelmaking slag. The innovation has already been introduced into the
production processes of several domestic and foreign companies, including the
Turkish company “DEMIR GROUP.”
Another project focused on optimizing
hydrometallurgical processes for the selective extraction of manganese using
artificial intelligence was also highly appreciated.
A project developed by representatives of the
university also took third place in the “Best Invention” category among
practicing engineers.
Other recognized projects included a technology for
increasing the service life and restoring hammer crushers using modern
technologies.
The presented projects cover the processing of
metallurgical waste, the use of artificial intelligence in production
processes, and the improvement of industrial equipment. They demonstrate the
practical focus of modern engineering developments in Uzbekistan.
