According
to the vaccination schedule provided by the information service of the
Committee for Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare and Public Health of the
Republic of Uzbekistan, vaccinations for children are carried out in the
following terms:
in the
first 24 hours of life - HBV-1: vaccination against viral hepatitis B;
on the
2nd-5th day of life - BCG-1: vaccination against tuberculosis;
at 2 months
- OPV-1, Rota-1, Pneumo-1 and Penta-1. They protect against polio, rotavirus
and pneumococcal infections, as well as diphtheria, pertussis, tetanus,
hepatitis B and infection caused by hemophilic bacillus type b (HIB);
at 3 months
- OPV-2, Rota-2, Pneumo-2 and Penta-2 - the next doses of the corresponding vaccines;
at 4 months
- OPV-3, Rota-3, Penta-3 and IPV-1. OPV and IPV are used to prevent polio;
at 9 months
- IPV-2: the next dose of polio vaccine;
at 12
months - CPC-1 and Pneumo-3: vaccination against measles, mumps (mumps),
rubella and pneumococcal infection;
at 16
months - DPT-4 and OPV-4: against diphtheria, whooping cough, tetanus and
polio;
at the age
of 6, KPC-2: against measles, mumps and rubella;
at 7 years
old - ADS-M-5 and OPV-5: against diphtheria, tetanus and polio;
at the age
of 9, HPV: vaccination against human papillomavirus;
at the age
of 16 - ADS-M-6: against diphtheria and tetanus.
Important:
penta, which is administered at the age of 2, 3 and 4 months, is a combined
vaccine that includes components against diphtheria, pertussis, tetanus, viral
hepatitis B and HIB infection.
OPV and the
rotavirus vaccine are administered orally, while the remaining vaccines are
injected according to the instructions for use. The specific dose and the place
of administration are determined by a medical professional.
Taking into
account the epidemiological situation in the country, additional changes and
additions may be made to the National Calendar. In particular, measles
vaccination is also currently carried out for children aged 6 months.
