"All 12 judges have unanimously decided on Radev's resignation, it is final and comes into force today," the Bulgarian National Radio reports.
Radev submitted his resignation to the country's Constitutional Court on Tuesday. Since the transfer of the petition, Radev's powers as president have effectively ceased and, in accordance with the country's constitution, have been transferred to Vice-President Iliyana Yotova, who will serve as president until the end of Radev's mandate on January 22, 2027. report.az.
