In particular, the current state of implementation of joint projects and specific initiatives for further accelerated expansion of cooperation in the investment, trade and economic spheres were discussed with Muhammad al-Thani. The parties confirmed their mutual readiness to take all necessary measures to support the business circles of both countries to strengthen ties, increase investment and industrial cooperation.

During the negotiations with the heads of large companies of Qatar, prospects for joint implementation of major investment projects in priority sectors of the economy of Uzbekistan with the involvement of direct investments of Qatari companies were discussed. The investment and industrial potential of our country is presented, comfortable conditions for investment activity created in recent years are announced.

A number of agreements have been reached on the implementation of joint initiatives. The agreements cover the fields of agriculture and food production, "green" energy, infrastructure development, projects for the production of household chemicals, building materials, financial and technical cooperation.

In general, the results of the meetings showed a high level of interest of the Qatari business community in the implementation of joint projects in Uzbekistan, as one of the attractive areas for direct investment and expansion of the geography of business.
