According
to the presented plans, flights are expected to begin on October 12, 2026, with
a frequency of three times a week. It is planned to use Airbus A330 cargo
aircraft to operate the flights. The transportation is expected to be carried
out in both directions. The main categories of cargo may include equipment and
goods for cross‑border e‑commerce.
During the
meeting, the parties discussed commercial and operational issues related to the
possible launch of a new route, including the terms of airport, ground, and
warehouse services, aircraft refuelling, as well as issues related to preparing
the necessary infrastructure and personnel.
Nanjing is
a major historical, industrial, and logistics centre in Eastern China, and the
capital of Jiangsu Province. The city is located on the Yangtze River,
approximately 300 kilometres from Shanghai.
The launch
of regular cargo flights between Nanjing and Tashkent will expand the geography
of direct cargo air transportation and create additional opportunities for the
development of trade, logistics, and e‑commerce ties.
