The youth capital of the CIS - Tashkent city will host participants of the Global Youth Festival

    From June 26 to 30, 2024, a Global Youth Festival will be held in five cities of Uzbekistan - Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, Jizzakh and Khiva.

    Within the framework of the festival, Tashkent will host a scientific and practical conference on the study of youth problems of the CIS member states, a meeting of the youth parliaments of the CIS member states, a business marathon with the participation of young entrepreneurs from the Commonwealth countries, a competition for young readers and a chess tournament among youth from the CIS countries.

    These events will be held at the Palace of Youth Creativity, in front of which a special monument was unveiled on April 15, 2024 in honor of the landmark event - the announcement of Tashkent as the Youth Capital of the CIS in 2024.

    Participants of the Global Youth Festival will also enjoy a multifaceted entertainment and cultural program in Tashkent.

    For reference: Tashkent city was declared the Youth capital of the CIS in 2024 by the Decision of the Council of Heads of Government of the CIS dated June 8, 2023.
