According
to the State Security Service, the incident occurred on a section of the
Uzbek-Kyrgyz state border in the Ferghana district of the Ferghana region.
Unknown persons illegally moved three bags of drugs across the border and left
them, among which 30,660 tablets of Regapen and 925 units of Tropicamide were
found.
The total
cost of the seized medicines amounted to 3 billion 297 million soums.
A criminal
case has been opened on this fact. Operational measures are currently being
taken to identify and detain those involved in the organization of the
smuggling channel.
