This was announced by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation.

It was noted that Begoyim Varisova, a student of Namangan State Pedagogical Institute, also participated in the meeting dedicated to the socio-economic development of Namangan region, which was chaired by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

During the meeting she shared her thoughts and proposals and thanked head of state for introducing the "Abdulla Avloni" scholarship for students studying pedagogy.

The student also put forward an initiative to organize an annual "Readers' Forum" in Namangan. She said the forum would serve to increase the intellectual potential of young people and foster a culture of reading.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev supported Begoyim Varisova's initiatives and announced that she would be granted the scholarship ahead of schedule.
